Datatask (NZ) 2008 Ltd staff have experience providing Building Warrant of Fitness services throughout the Auckland area. I have helped building owners in a range of industries ensure they remain in compliance with the requirements of Section 108 and section 110 of the 2004 Building Act, and in accordance with the Building Amendment Act 2012, by ensuring the buildings they are responsible for are safe.

The owner-operator of Datatask (NZ) 2008 Ltd is a registered Independent Qualified Person (IQP) for passive fire and signage ( SS14.2, SS15B, SS15C, SS15D, SS15E ), and also a member of relevant professional organisations, including the Association of Building Compliance, Building Networks, Sitewise, and Sitesafe.

The Building WOF Process

The process for renewing your building WOF usually starts around two months before your current building WOF expires. The main steps in the process include:

Notifying your contractors of record to complete their inspections and provide their 12A certificates.
Collating all documents by your chosen BWOF agent, then
Creating an annual report to the owner
Creating the Form 12 Building Warrant of Fitness
The building Owners is then provided with the building WOF to display in the building, along with copies of all relevant documents
Council is provided a copy of the building WOF

Building Warrant of Fitness

We have in-depth knowledge of the Building Act 2004 and subsequent legislation. We also have detailed knowledge and experience of the building WOF cycle.

Residential Property Management

Datatask (NZ) 2008 Ltd provides a full range of property management services, including checks to ensure the provisions of the Healthy Homes requirements are being addressed, supervision of contractors ( at no cost plus component to the owner) and directly addressing trivial maintenance on an hourly cost basis, plus hardware costs.
